things my dad taught me

My amazing dad has managed to teach me some pretty important things throughout my life and I wanted to share a few with you guys today. So here it goes...
Things my dad has taught me (whether he meant to or not):
Throwing like a girl means throwing harder than all of the boys.
Driving fast is fun. Really fun.
The leaves in the yard aren't going to pick themselves up.
Find a spouse that is also your best friend.
If you want something, you're going to have to work for it.
Helping people move at 8am on a Saturday morning will always bring more gratification than sleeping in.
When it comes to fires, bigger is always better.
Love your family, even if they do you wrong.
Dairy Queen dilly bars are where it's at.
Serving others is what will bring you happiness in this life.
When you think you've added enough pepper, add a little more.
Don't let the little things offend you.
Bug spray and bonfires don't mix. Or do they?
All the "boy things" that dads do with their sons, are also "girl things".
Have fun.
Great dads make even better grandpas.

Thank you, Dad, for always being my biggest supporter. Thank you for not only loving Eric and I, but for loving the crap out of our kids, too.

It wouldn't be right if I didn't mention my husband today, too.
Eric, every time I see you loving Saydee and Knix, I fall more in love with you. Your hard work, dedication, and love towards us is unmatched. Thank you for being the amazing example that you are, and thank you for making me a mom and trusting me with raising our children. I love you.
Happy Father's Day.
