knix's nursery

I'm SO excited to finally share Knix's nursery! I mean, he's only 5 months, and we've moved for the season so we don't even live there right now, but that's not too awful, right? ;) When we got home from baseball season, we were here less than two weeks before Knix decided he wanted to join our family. Needless to say, 90% of the decorating came after Knix arrived.

Decorating our home is something I have had so much fun doing, and creating a sweet little space for my little man was no different. We didn't find out Knix's gender ahead of time, but I knew I wanted to create something neutral and serene regardless.

I was able to find some great pieces at great prices, and I loved the few vintage, and personal touches that were added to this fun space. Simple and clean was how I envisioned this space before our little guy came, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. I love all of it, but I particularly love the vintage dresser, KO initials above the crib, and the hand-painted watercolor animal portraits. The tiny wooden car on the shelf was a souvenir that Eric and I picked up on our last solo trip together in Seattle before the baby came. I love the meaning that each piece holds.

I love how it turned out and am so excited to watch him grow in this room.
