I love love.

If you're anything like me, you're a sucker for a cute love story. I came across All The Wire a few months ago on Instagram through a giveaway they were hosting with one of my favorite shops of all time, Swanky Shank. (You know, those giveaways that you never win? Well, I won. Whoop whoop! That's beside the point, though...)

After I went to their site and started looking around, I found the story behind their shop name, and I fell for them, hard. Aside from their amazing products, their story was just too cute! You can read it here.

When I won the giveaway I started thinking about what I wanted to have written on the cuff for Saydee. Her name? Kind of boring. Initials? Also too boring for me. So I did what I always do. I asked my husband.

I told Eric I couldn't decide what to have written on Say's bracelet, and he instantly gave me the most perfect and obvious answer, as if I had asked what color the sky was.

"The one and only ever you."

My favorite book of Saydee's (shout out to the best bro & sis-in-law for gifting it) is On the Night You Were Born. If you have kids and haven't read this book, please do, like now! My favorite line from the book is "...the one and only ever you." It encompasses more perfectly than I could ever explain, the way I feel about my sweet baby girl, and how special I pray she grows to know she is. This simple, sweet bracelet sent from All The Wire was so much more to me than just the excitement of winning a giveaway.

One of the things that I've been most afraid of during this pregnancy is having enough love for both Saydee, and sweet baby on the way. {I wrote all about it in this post.} I love the special relationship I have with Say and never want to lose that, even though we're growing our family. So, when Eric said it, I wanted to cry. It was so obvious, and so perfect.

I pray every single night that my sweet girl grows to know her infinite worth. I tell her every single day that she is beautiful, and not a day goes by that I don't ask if she knows that I love her. Just to make sure. I hope she understands how unique and extraordinary she is, and that she is and will always be the one and only Saydee Olivia.

  1. Eric is my favorite player in the MLB. Hands down he seems to be the most honest hard working player out there. Someone kids should definitely be looking up to. You guys seem to have such a great little family (much like I think of my own family lol). Bless your family and the little one on the way.

    1. Thank you so much! I am so proud of him and all of the hard work he puts in! Family is definitely important to us, and I'm glad that he can be such a great role model to all of the kids out there looking up to him. Thank you for your kind words :)
