first birthday

Well, it's over. Saydee's first birthday party came and went in the blink of an eye! We had the most amazing time, and are so blessed and lucky to have so many people that love our sweet baby. I had so much fun planning and preparing for her big day and I think it all turned out great. Everyone had a great time, and Saydee had so much fun, which is all that really matters. I'm holding on to the one day I have left until my not-so-little baby is actually one!

Since our little girl traveled so much during her first year of life, we decided to go with a "girly" airplane theme. It was so bright and fun! From the cupcakes, to the paper airplanes flying around everywhere, everything came together great and we had so much fun celebrating with our family and friends.

{Can you tell that I'm a little obsessed with tassels?}

{I apparently forgot to take a picture of the "before" with the two million adorable cupcakes covering the table, but here's the aftermath}

{One of my favorite parts of the decor was the rings we hung in the trees for the kids to fly their paper airplanes through, and the paper airplane banner. They turned out so cute!}

{She couldn't have loved this cake any more. She ate a good 3/4 of it, and barely even used her hands. Impressive to say the least.}

{Saydee's in a deep, deep food coma after consuming half of her body weight in cake.}

Say had the most amazing time and we are so thankful for and in love with our sweet almost-one year old.
